The second, even if seat selection it is not available on your flight, still the odds are high to get a good seat. Particularly if you check in early, you can always check-in online. However, if you decided to spend some cash on selecting your seat on the airplane, here are some facts you must know before purchasing airplane seat.

Before purchasing airplane seat you should consider the sun. The sun is irritating if you are sitting in the window seat. Even it could get worse when the crew asks u to open the window on the flight ascending and descending. So, maybe you like to avoid the sunny side of the airplane.

But how to know? Well, if you check-in online, you will get the seat number. The seat A is always the left-wing window seat. While the L seat is always the right-wing seat. So, how to know which wing will be the sunny one? It is simple and can be easily expected. It depends on the flight time, duration, and direction. So if you are traveling in the morning time, the sun is expected in the first half of the flight, and if you travel at night, then the sun will definitely wake you up in the last hours of the flight.

Knowing the fact that if your flight from the north to the south, the sun will rise from your left side and will dawn on your right side, gives you a pretty good idea about when and where to expect the sun.

Definitely, The best seat for sleeping is the window seat. As you can rest your head on the window and control the light and the sun. Also, no other passengers to disturb you. Don’t forget to make your seat-belt fasten and clear to the stuff crew so they will not wake u up when the airplane is landing. For smooth sleep, I should mention that the seats on the wing are less affected by the air turbulence.

Does it truly matter? If the engine stopped or the airplane crashed, does the seat position make any difference? Honestly, the answer is no. However, it is a desperate trial to increase the survival chances if ever it happened. Reports and statistics tell that survival rate is higher on the aisle seat than the window seat, and on airplane rear than the nose or the wing. But also, I must remind you that the airplanes by far are the safest mood of transportation.

To book your flight early enable the flexibility to choose the seat you like, and change it later if desired. However late check-in can tell which places are vacant and if you are lucky enough you may be able to buy the seat where the next 2 seats are empty which look like a couch and better for sleeping. You would look like a first-class passenger on the economy class.

The window seat is favorable for enjoying the beautiful scenes of our planet earth. The natural views are fascinating. The best seats for spectacular views are the window, as you can experience the full view. The wings could obscure the vision if you sit in the back of the airplane.

 

In the end, the earlier determination of the plane seat is relying upon you, whether you want to enjoy the view or you want to sleep. But unfortunately, you can buy a seat, but you can not buy a companion. In my opinion, a friendly co-operative passenger beside you is obviously more essential than the seat.
